Here we go again
2010 was the year we started writing about the local music scene in Tampa, FL, through a little website called TheGrowlSite.com (this site is no longer visible). This site began because of the love for music and the fact that the local scene is just as good as the mainstream music, which is literally shoved down our throats daily.
My wife and I ran this site as a team to help local musicians spread the word about their music, including the local venues in which they played. We did some recordings, snapped some pics, and basically got up and personal with many of the bands. All the bands have been great, and to this day, continue to write great music.
Now, as it turns out, the brand has changed to Fanatic, but we are keeping to the same concept of spreading the word for the independent artist. The idea has also grown to include the local businesses in the area, local concerns, and maybe some off-the-wall topics every now-and-again. So be on the look out for some interesting topics to hit the Fanatic Local Blog pages.
And, if you are a local musician, business, or if you would like us to look into a topic of concern, please feel free to leave a comment or send us a message. We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
Fanatic

Right in Two! By TOOL calms me when I need to sit and "pay attention, Tara!" Uhhh yea?! OTEP what a fabulous band I have actually stumbled upon! Infatuation with Unter Null wasn't deleted I'm happy to say. Interest is still there, I find myself looking for Ghost Flowers by OTEP more often. Yea can you tell? I listen to local and mainstream (if you want a categorization) music.
